The following roles need to be filled:

  • volunteer coordinator,
  • money hunter,
  • activity & games planners,
  • festival infrastructure & transportation,
  • event publicity.

In it’s 58th year, The Spirit of the Sea Festival has become a community tradition. The Festival has grown over it’s long history into one of the most well-regarded celebrations in the Pacific Northwest. As a volunteer driven event, the Spirit of the Sea Festival gathers and entertains over almost 100,000 people during the August long weekend (August 1st to 3rd, 2008).

You can help!

The following roles need to be filled:

  • volunteer recruiting, training and coordinating,
  • money hunting and sponsorship seeking,
  • activity planning for beach games, races, arts activities and children's entertainment,
  • infrastructure, transportation and security planning and coordination,
  • event publicity and marketing.

If you could assist in these areas, or would like to contribute in any other way, we will be very happy to hear from you.

Over 200 volunteers participate in the success of the Festival. The young and the young at heart contribute their time and dedication to all facets of the many events held over the course of the Festival weekend. Your help is needed and greatly appreciated.
