1. Volunteer Experience

Overall, how was your volunteer experience with the festival?
Great - I thoroughly enjoyed volunteering for the festival.
Good - It was a pleasant experience.
OK/neutral - It wasn't all that good, but wasn't bad either.
Not so good - I didn't really like volunteering for the festival.
Really bad - It was a terrible experience.

Do you have suggestions for ensuring volunteers have a good experience?
What would have made your time with the festival more enjoyable?

2. Volunteer Purpose

How strong was your sense of purpose in the tasks you were assigned?
How meaningful were your responsibilities?
Great - I felt like I was contributing something really important to the festival.
Good - It seemed like the thngs I was doing were somewhat helpful.
OK/neutral - My tasks weren't all that important, but I wasn't wasting my time either.
Not so good - It didn't seem like what I was doing anything all that meaningful.
Really bad - It felt like I was wasting my time.

Do you have suggestions for ensuring everyone feels their job is important?
What would have given you a greater sense of purpose in what you were doing?

3. Volunteer Services

How well were you taken care of during the festival?
Great – I really felt like I was being well taken care of.
Good – My well-being was addressed somewhat.
OK/neutral – I wasn't cared for, but not abandoned either.
Not so good – It didn't feel like my needs were all that important.
Really bad – I felt completely abandoned.

Do you have suggestions for taking better care of volunteers during the festival?
What would have made you feel more comfortable?

4. Volunteer Orientation

How helpful were the instructions and information provided to you?
Great - I knew exactly what I was supposed to be doing.
Good - I had a pretty good idea of what was expected of me.
OK/neutral - I didn't get clear instruction, but I wasn't completely lost either.
Not so good - I didn't really feel like I knew what I was supposed to be doing.
Really bad - I felt completely lost.

Do you have suggestions for providing better instruction to festival volunteers?
What would have given you more confidence in what you were doing?

5. Volunteer Food

What was the quality of the food and refreshments provided to volunteers?
Great - The food was very good.
Good - It was somewhat decent food.
OK/neutral - It wasn't great, but wasn't terrible.
Not so good - I didn't really like the food.
Really bad - The food was terrible.

Do you have suggestions for better food choices for volunteers?
What would you have preferred to be offered?

6. Volunteer Recruitment

How easy was it to get involved?
Great - It was very simple to join the festival.
Good - It was somewhat easy to get involved.
OK/neutral - It wasn't easy, but wasn't difficult.
Not so good - It was a challenge to join the volunteer team.
Really bad - It was very frustrating trying to sign up.

Do you have suggestions for making it easier to get involved?
What would have made it easier for you to sign up as a volunteer?

How helpful was this website?
Great - It was very helpful and simple to use.
Good - It was somewhat helpful.
